God, when the Bros quit the division will fall of a cliff! Adamek is the only saving grace . . . if his trainers are any good he has the talent to beat the big bro . . . but he needs the skill! can he adapt?

Adamek is going to be brutalized, the HW division will keep being dominated by eastern europeans for the foreseeable future and you'll keep crying about it, fact :deal

I think the bros look so great is beacuse the dominate the weak. its like most of these guys have forgotten the art of boxing. some have talent but no skill and vice versa. I do not see the bros as unbeatable by anyone today but these guys do not know what to do when they are fighting a bigger man. its sad really, this new crop of boxers really need some old school trainers to take over

What in the hell are you talking about . . . isnt he from Poland? which I am pretty sure is eastern europe? He could get beat but I think if he has the right training he can beat VK

i think a lot of guys who fought the brothers were very good talented fighters but like they say it all goes out the window with the first punch

i think many of these guys trained well and prepared well and just got hurt and discouraged early

i think many underestimated the speed these big guys would have and skill

plus i bet many of the guys in 05 06 even 07 probably got so sold on the glass jaw bs and prepped for a KO and when it didnt happen folded

klits would be good in any era this era is capable not great however

the way i look at this era s if you took any heavyweight today ( outside of the bros) and placed them back in time, removed the dominate champ (from back then) could the become the man. I cannot name anyone outside the bros that could stand a chance. Yet, i can name dozens of contenderes that could easily step in and be the man today.

Lol, I do not think either of the bros are the hardest hitting heavies in history. fighters had heart and skill to adjust to the power back in the day . . . these gys have nothing. the closest thing to heart was the beat down both arreolla and briggs took and VK when he almost had his faced ripped off by LL.

Speed compared to SNV maybe. Great boxers do not train for a KO if it comes then it comes

Yes. The 90's are generally referred to as the silver age of heavyweight boxing.

    Good post. :good

The overall quality of the heavyweight fighters is not lacking, no.

    In my opinion.

    Yes, very good points.

I think so many who say *they are merely KOing unprepared bums* don't take into account all of the highly ranked, undefeated, and very well conditnioned fighters the brothers are steemrolling.

As you said, the best laid plans, even from a very good, well conditioned and skilled fighter goes out the window once they try to deal with the brother's size AND skill.

They don't get near the credit they are due.

In fact, several of the top heavies today don't get the credit they are due.

I am amazed on how many "fans" started watching boxing in the past decade! that is the only way that anyone can think that this current crop of heavies are any good

You'll be crying about the HW division being dominated by eastern europeans and calling it weak, you know it full well :yep. And Adamek will get brutalized by Vitali, he's not going to dominate **** :deal

They simply don't have the hate glasses on, like you do :deal

If the current state of the division is not due to the fact that the americans have fallen off of the face of the earth . . . why didnt eastern europeans always dominate the amatuer ranks in boxings (especially at heavy)?
