I see what you mean fella. But if you think about it, the LJ and 200m are just adoptions of the same skill set. the only difference in the 3 is pacing and stamina in the 200m and of course jumping And of course Daley competed in the long jump during the Decathlon, as well as throwing events, jumping events and middle distance track events.
So you avoiding me calling you out Damn, you should have demanded a PED test, then you may have saved some face
Oh, and shitty thread title, too. Who the **** really consideres Frank Shamrock a legend of the sport besides his clown buddies who don't even know what a brabo choke is that he spouts nonsense to at Strikeforce? Legend my ass.
MMA requires more skills, I don't see how this is even in question. An MMA fighter must know far more than punching and clinching. But boxers must have their skills developed to a higher level because they're limited to far fewer techniques and MMA fighter has. After considering the last 2 WLad Klitschko fights I watched, the Ukrainian might considering learning how to sprawl since his past 2 opponents seemed more interested in double-leg takedowns instead of trying to punch him.
You are avoiding the principal points avobe and the painful (for you and mma fanboys in general) reality of the MMA as a second tier form of prizefighting. A "sport" (or maybe I must say tv circus) where guys like Rich Franklin, a bored math teacher in a College, can train two years and become UFC Champion of the World. MMA entertains me so much and I have following with regularity since Pride fc days, but the fanboys who equipares that TV show with the sport of profesional boxing are attacking the common sense.
A guy referencing, "the common sense" whilst at the same time using something that half resembles an English word in, "equipares." Very... let's call it interesting.
This content is protected This guy won an Olympic Gold Medal and fought for the WBA Championship of the world :thumbsup
Something that failed boxers like JDS, Kharitonov, Noons, Melendez etc. cant even dream. No matters what Joe Rogan said to you, MMA guys are not elite athletes, MMA is not anything but a transitional sport and a minor form of prizefighting for american wrestlers who cant did in the mundials and olimpic games and for the four or five brazilian grapplers of the world circuit. Deal with it
How much you going to fail in one thread fella Skipping rope is for girly men with pillows on their hands [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzLipj4V1nQ&feature=related[/ame]
JDS and Melendez didnt try real boxing so they didnt fail at it. Noons got a 10-2 record i think and Kharitonov was pretty good at boxing but he never wanted to really be a boxer
Lol, why not? If you can sucess in boxing then you box.The reasons are obvious. Seriously, you guys still believe is Santa Claus? xDD pd: Pro wrestling is fake, and Randy Couture and all UFC hall of famers arnothing but failed bums.
