    Round 2

Gibson ducks a hook and then winds his way around Hughes, trying to lay his thick arms around the back of Hughes' neck to push him down into a low clinch. Hughes keeps dancing around throwing soft hooks until Gibson sends him HARD to the canvas with a short combo! Gibson comes bashing in with a hard left hook. Hughes is battered against the ropes. Hard whacks to the body with the hook and head with the right by Gibson. He lets Hughes off the hook and off the ropes, though. Hughes is very low on offense now, getting rocked by hooks even as he blocks them. Gibson is trying to line up the right hand, obviously the punch he has the most faith in to finish the job.

    10-8 Gibson

You have no idea how infuriating this is for someone like me trying to do what I do as thoroughly as I try to do it.

Why even ****ing bother anymore? :-(

    Round 3

Hughes is leaning in, hooking up softly to the back of the ear and flopping in with right hands through the gloves. Hughes flurries at chest level and is barely avoiding some carefully measured bombs. Hughes stays in the pocket too long and is wobbled back a step by a right hand as they land together. Moments later Hughes is down AGAIN. Gibson is clearly the much bigger hitter here, and has Hughes' full attention (while Gibson is giving his power zero respect but still defending dutifully and only going for open spots...which are being provided regularly as Hughes starts opening up). Hughes jabs and pulls straight back with his left low and gets clocked with a right.

    10-8 Gibson

Don't like Gibson but he's clearly a class above Hughes.

If this was any longer than a 4-rounder, Hughes would be KTFO.

Hell, he might get KTFO here in the 4th...
