I wonder if Tua started a little too late.

    Round 8

Barrett plays around with switching stances as he circles away. Tua is bashing his way in with high left hooks. Most are blocked or careening off the well-muscled shoulder of Barrett. A few are sneaking through and catching Barrett on the chin, but none absolutely flush. Barrett is reaching down and pushing at Tua's hips to back him off. The action is paused as Tua goes to a neutral corner for some reason. Glove repair? Barrett's corner man is furious. He yells that they're cheating. Tua pushes in low on Barrett and they have a Sumo-style shoving match, just about equals in strength. Barrett lands a couple of jabs from outside. Barrett falls in with a right hand but is timed with a left hook on the way in and has to steady himself.

    79-73 Barrett

Barrett big jab starts things off, Tua now really attacking. Tua weaving, throws a right to the body. Tua swings and misses a left hook. Barrett in close, Tua, lands a left uppercut. Barrett backs up and jabs. Clean left hook lands by Tua, Barrett misses with a left uppercut, and backs up. They get in close, ref calls time. Loose tape on Tua's glove. Taking quite a bit, Tua getting a breather and Barrett's corner is not happy. Alright here we are action resumes, Barrett lands a double jab. Tua misses with a leaping left hook. Barrett jab, and a right hand, Barrett big left hook.

    79-73 Barrett.

The cocksure Haye that beat Barrett? Yes.

The timid ***** Klitschko beat? He might lose to this in-shape and motivated Barrett.
