you must not have read yesterday post. most of Bute fans were not happy and I still am not. If your problem is with Interbox stop attacking Bute's fans.

Like I sais yesterday: I hope it's only a way to negociate and they will come to agreement. If not, Interbox and Bute will loose a lot of credibility in the boxing world.

In negotiation, your first offer should not be one that "they cannot refuse". When did that come from? When I bought my house, talking to the guy he refused my first offer, he offered me something back, and he accepted my second offer. It is called negotiation.

Saying that, I can understand Johnson's refusal. The offer was indeed a little low. The Kessler and Pavlik cases though are different: clear ducking.

    I'm a Bute fan.

I'm a big Bute fan but the Johnson offer is laughable, what a joke. interbox need to step the **** up. putting Bute against the super 6 winner after fighting all these no hopers is not gonna serve him well. I still predict a win for Bute vs S6 winner but Interbox would be wise to fight a Kessler/ Glen Johnson/ Tavoris Cloud before that.

I am the biggest Bute fan on this forum and I am dieing for Bute to get in the ring with Glen Johnson. Both entertaining fighters who bring everything to the ring every time. Bute needs to make a good offer and prepare. This is a big opportunity for Bute and he should push for the fight.

The gate by itself generates roughly $100 per seat, so that's easy to calculate. Then you must add Showtime's $2 million.

You can expect $3.5 million available at a minimum.

Notice this attitude well from bute fans!!!!

This 'the belt is sooooooooo important for where the fight happens'.

This attitude is a good reason for Kessler not to bother with Interbox now and to go after Stieglitz belt instead.

if Kessler wins the belt, then WHAT will be the next excuse for bute not wanting to travel?

Johnson is getting a tittle shot @ 42. How many years does he have left in boxing. How many tittle shot will come by in the near future?

Glen just take the offer, and go beat Bute. You'll make your money after.

Trying to squeeze every single dollar like it's your last fight, is not the right approach.
