They all want tons of money to fight Bute. They also don't want to come to Canada. I mean, seriously thay all wanna make cash while they can.
Montreal is the only place where we can see serious money for an IBF SMW fight.

i know alot of people post on here...but you should have noticed most of my posts were hammering bute...im no fan boy of either...i just want to see the best fight and sick of the crap . kessler uses the belt bull**** when he has one...so i was only using his logic...now belts dont matter , its drawing power...or whatever other boxing business point someone hides behind...

As it stands right now things don't look good for Bute and his team. When the **** hit the fan over Pavlik pulling out, several articles gave $750K as the amount Kessler was actually offered. If that is the real number, the offer was the equivalent of ducking Kessler by making an asinine offer.

They offered Pavlik $1 million, and Team Pavlik got them up to $1.35 million. That seems fair enough to most people. However, Pavlik got $3 million for Hopkins. He made around $3 million for Martinez. And, he earned $2.5 million for blasting out Gary Lockett. At the end of the day, Bute's team offered Pavlik less than he earned for Rubio. It's easy to see why Pavlik felt he was being low-balled.

Today we learned that Bute's team made Johnson a bull**** offer. Glen Johnson has his own fan base, and he never has any trouble finding good fights. He doesn't need Bute. In fact, at this point I think it was Bute who needed Johnson.

Something is rotten here, and it stinks to high heaven. Bute's last 5 opponents were Mendy, Magee, Brinkley, Miranda, and Andrade. He is supposedly willing to step-up anytime. However, negotiations fell apart over money 3 times with 3 different potential opponents. This guy is starting to make Felix Sturm's competition look good. They could change that in a heart beat. All they have to do is offer opponents what they're worth, but they don't. Like I said, Something is rotten here.

Everybody here knows I a fan of Bute. I am not a promoter so I don't know if Glenn is worth more then 300K. But one thing is for sure, I am starting to find these refusals to be weird. Interboxe has not been able to secure a fight with Kessler, Pavlik and now Johnson. Not a lot of fighters remaining out there. I think Interboxe has to explain themselves. They are supposed to be getting Bute the best fight out there.

Is it possible they don't have the resources to bring these type of fights for Bute?

 

actually i like the guy....i as a real fan feel cheated when the best fights aernt made ...and i know sometimes **** happens...but kessler, dirrell, bute they have ZERO going on (at least kessler didnt, but has another excuse now)
i like watching Bute fight....ive already been on the record saying he would beat kessler...i just want them to fight...i dont want kessler vs brian magee or the wbo guy whoever the **** he is... if anything...i almost guarantee ward will fight bute next...and kessler will jerk off to his new wbo belt should he not veto that fight too

 

that is possible..... ever heard of the LA Dodgers? if you keep up with any general sports news, it was made known, and for the first time ever that a major league baseball team, could possibly not be able to make payroll for the the month,,,,and you can imagine what a MLB team payroll is....40-50 million a month? for an average...people got too comfortable with big money and just because you made 4 million one fight...1.5 million may be all thats on the table for the next...thats just business in 2011...times are hard

Not in the case of Kessler, he bring a lot of fans in his hometown too. The only problem is they would need to fight in America time if Showtime gives 2M$+ for this fight.
