    holy **** Mares is possessed! what a round... damn.. Agbeko needs to abandon the lead left hook because he is leaving himself WIDE OPEN to counters from Mares.

    We'll see if Agbeko looks to the ref for a way out. Mares is giving him an opportunity with the low blows.

    Agbeko ghosts to his left and pops the jab up high. Lots of jabs from Agbeko while keeping plenty of distance. Mares is watching and trying to set up a big right hand behind his own searching jab. Agbeko is moving too much for him. Mares charges in with a high left hook and hits the shielding right arm of Agbeko. Now Mares drops his left hooks down low. Dangerously low. Agbeko keeps backing away with his hands up and leaves a target for Mares to hook to the body. Mares keeps going too low. Agbeko pushes down on Mares' head as they come together and the ref chides him. More low blows by Mares. Agbeko is drifting around the ring, luring Mares on while flipping up left jabs from by his hip. Mares keeps coming, and eats several stiff up-jabs. Agbeko is controlling the distance and turning Mares, popping jabs. Mares isn't getting close. NICE counter left hook by Agbeko, thrown over his own head as he ducks a heavy right hand by Mares.

    Mares won that round, but it looks like Agbeko is starting to make an adjustment.
