Without the ball-work. Agbeko would've KOed' Mares in 11th or 12th. He wobbled Mares even after 10 rounds of having his gonads smashed.

Mares, with a little better game plan should be able to beat KK more clearly IMO. Rd 12 was a good game plan for him. he won that rd pretty clear by Boxing.

Also guy remember Mares way out landed KK and landed harder shots. bad decision yes, but the fight was Very close and Mares did a lot of work and landed the harder shots.

 

I need to take my advice from you more often.

There really shouldn't be any talk of a decision. That fight should have ended in a disqualification. You can't land 30+ low blows, at least one of which badly hurts your opponent, and be allowed to continue competing. Russell Mora is a ****ing disgrace. Credit to Jim Gray for telling it like it is and ripping into him.

 

No ****ing big **** promoters have ever been good for the SPORT. Only good for themselves and their bank statements. Frankly it doesn't help that Mexican's are carrying boxing revenues right now, GBP is a Mexican dominated promotions company and that Mexico is currently corrupt as **** right now. Makes for a pretty huge hill to climb when you are some G from Africa with no fan base and an aging promoter.

 

Mares had to cheat to beat a sluggish Agbeko.

I can't see any way in hell of Mares beating a sharp Agbeko. He can't stop right hands, Agbeko was hurting him to the body and he was fading hard late.
