    Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this the same referee who had no problem noticing Anthony Peterson's lowblows against Rios, and disqualifying him for them?

    i see your point, and scouseleaders, im just abit disapointed Mares win has ended like this when he put up a very decent fight.

    I'm probably coming across like 'sour grapes' but it's not because of bias or anything, if Agbeko had done what Mares did tonight, I'd be just as ****ing angry. And I'm fuming. Can't believe what I saw here tonight.

    Absolutely bogus bull**** refereeing, and a disgusting performance by Abner Mares (a fighter who I used to like), got 2 dodgy KD's in his favour, should have had at least 2 points deducted (fighters have been DQ'd for worse). Pissed me off to no end.

    Remember all that **** Hatton got/gets for favouritism from Parris - well this **** tonight was on a whole other level.

    The Yanks try to act as if they'll get shafted anywhere outside America (mainly Canada, UK and Germany) but the amount of international fighters that get done in the US...Sergio Martinez, Lucas Mattyhsse, Agbeko tonight...

    good fight by both men, the lowblows get called for and you don't do it again

    some of these where horrifically low.

    good win for mares and it looked like he would could of won had it not needed lowblows. even though agbekos sprint to the finish looked like he was catching up. rm needed




    and anyone in favour of a ban russell mora thread?
