I think it will be a good fight for De la Hoya a chance to win WBC belt and become champion again and a good weight 160 so he wont be drained and feel strong.

de la hoya lost to the best fighter in the world in Pacquiao that doesnt mean he is washed up he can still beat alot of fighters out there, and it would be good for his career to go out as champion.

If his mind was in it Oscar would take it, but its hard to tell after 3 years off and all the stuff hes been dealing with that at 38 he could put toghether one last strong performance.

50/50 fight. If only because Oscar is 38 and has had such a long layoff.

Oscar's finished. His punches don't have their snap and power that they used to. That takes not just a lot away from his left hook but most importantly his jab. He really does seem to tire down the stretch at the higher weights and I think with those two flaws in mind Chavez would take him on work rate.

Who knows though? Maybe he Mayorga's him. I just don't see it, I'll take the younger busier fighter.

you are horrible , chavez is a garbage champ who lost to zbik and eats punches like a fatgirl eats cupcakes , did you watch his fight vs zbik , did you see his face afterward , did you score the round yourself ?

old shot oscar at 154-160 is still leagues ahead of chavez in every catagory , and the way chavez eats shots , oscars left hook will end him

De la hoya should fight twice more, Chavez Jr and then defend the middleweight crown against mayorga in a rematch so he gets another impressive knockout victory then ride of into the sunset lol.
