Burns/Broner likely on HBO on November 5

Unbeaten junior lightweight prospect Adrien Broner's mandatory challenger against WBO titlist Ricky Burns of Scotland could be headed for Nov. 5 on HBO, according to Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer.

Why would Frank let him go to States, Burns isnt a strong puncher and there may be a dodgy decision

 

burns got good workrate though Broner not burns could win this on workrate alone even stateside

 

I don't think Burns is a massive cash cow for him. If the money to go to the States is good, he might just let him.

Burns has to make use of his size in this fight, and not trade, Broner is alot more rounded than Martinez, and possibly hits harder too.

 

I think ricky can win this on points, be better if it was in the UK, more likely to win

 

Broner is really not all that. The Litzau flight massivley flatters him.

 

Agreed but he is improving every fight. Definitely Burns biggest test of his career.

 

Litzau is definitely chinny. Broner's decent and defensively will pose Burns problems. I think he'll counter effectively early on but Burns will be putting a LOT of pressure on him. Ricky will take over from the fourth round.

 

If this is on HBO and also in America then there is no way Burns can win unless he stands and trades with Broner i hope he gets well paid by going to America as he has everything going against .
