Last I heard, Arreola wanted AT LEAST one more fight before Wladimir (which if they fought in November/December, that Sept 15 date could be it)....who knows.
Arreola needs a better win to take on Wlad, he has a step to make before he can compete on such a fight. Though he is one of the best names around. I hope Wlad fights Povetkin next. Helenius and Dimitrenko are good names also.
I'd like to see Wladimir fight either the Povetkin/Chagaev winner, Valuev, or Haye. More likely it will be one of Tarver, Arreola, Dimitrenko, or Mormeck. Or Liakovitch if he somehow upsets Helenius.
hahaha you think the winner of this paper belt is gonna fight the one guy who will take it right back? especially only 3 months later ? aint no way...they will fight some patheic opponent who is not top 25 as of now..but moved magica;;y when they are ready for him :deal
I think it will be Arreola or Povetkin/Chagaev winner. Povetkin-Chagaev fight will be in late august. The winner could be ready for Wlad in late november or early to mid december.
i think its possible, Wlad told few weeks ago that he would like to fight Povetkin in Moscow at Luzhniki stadium
If Povetkin wins i don´t believe Sauerland will allow a fight against Wlad. Arreola in New York would be fine.
I say let Chag-Pov winner fight Thomson-Chambers winner. Whoever wins wins this can legitimately say he earned the right to challenge Waldo. Helenius is too green. Fury is too green. Arreola would be an option if he beat a Fury or Helenius.
For the Regular WBA? or will it be called the Super-Duper WBA ? Eithe way the Ruslan / Povetkin fight will be fun to watch, but the strap is ass good as a paper weight.
