How much would you estimate in total Ippy?

I agree, they should have held the fights in Toowoomba.

    Yeah mate i agree.

Anything around that figure is sadly a very poor turnout.

Up against Titans vs. Storm & GC Suns vs. Lions was bad planning.
People only have X dollars to blow on 1 day's entertainment.

I'd agree with the 800-1000 mark. Somewhere around there. A lot of people were out in the foyer during the undercard, so the crowd improved by the time Mick fought. Cheapest ticket was $65 I believe, so perhaps it still went ok. I would've thought they'd be turning them away if it were in Toowoomba. Enjoyed seeing Mick live. First time I'd done so since his fight with poor old Muhammad Jamal Khan.

At one stage a little before the main fight, i was a tad bored so did a rough count on how many were there. personally thought there were at least 1800 people . there were at least 500-600 people on the floor (ringside) and i would estimate about 1000-1200 in the stadium seating.

still very poor turnout, but i raised a point earlier on about GC suns and how i thought it was poor planning putting it up against them VS lions. i was laughed at the time, but looks like it played a big part.

Maybe you're right Steve, I dunno, I just don't think it was that many. Vast majority of the upper stands were completely empty. Regardless, it wasn't great.

Boxing just isn't mainstream here . It's based moreso on show than performace
