Is that Agbeko's shell is so perfect. He's well protected from the body punch that Mares shapes to throw. Literally the only place that he can land is ina balls. I've found this one more disturbing than a litany of bad decisions for some reason.

Great defensive skills as well as a surging comeback making for a really exciting final round ruined by a spasticared referee.

This is clearly Agbeko's fault as we can see he is puching Mares' head down.
    :)

Mora couldn't have asked for a better view of the shot, either.

Note in that pic how Mares has his left knee bent.

I don't think he would do that if trying for a clean body shot. He was CLEARLY (IMO) aiming low on purpose.

Well that shows he was putting everyting he had into the shot!

Remember 389 pounds of force for the scientific ball basher.

Mares knows exactly what he's doing with those 'body' shots. He's nice little guy, but watching him in the post-fight press conference, I honestly don't know how he can be so happy and proud of 'winning' that fight. If that was me, I'd be ashamed to think/know that the referee helped me snatch the belt off someone else.

And on another thread I showed that:

Says he is a "Bldg. Plans Examiner Specialist" for that County.

I would check everything and everyone he's been involved with at that job too.

Do you people think there might be some shady dealings at his day job too?

Blatant refereeing blunders **** me off so much more I've found...Reid-Ottke, Brewster-Krasniqi, Coggi-Gonzalez.

I don't get quite the same feeling from judging robberies.

What does he mean by parrying off the glove anyway?

If the glove is on the belt line, it's only got one place to go.

Closer to 30. And if you include the shots landed on Agbeko's spine and lower back, the number skyrockets probably to 40+.

    The point, exactly.

Below the neck, he is only vulnerable in one spot because he is defending himself appropriately, namely HIS ****ING BALLS. And guess what?

I was shouting at the ref all fight long, and found my self almost instinctively walking closer and closer to the TV as the fight went on.

By the time Agbeko got "KD'd" by the lowblow, I was almost in front of the TV screen and hopping up and down and giving the ref some choice Filipino words.

The ref's performance was so "evil referee in an underdog sports movie"-worthy.
