'Cobra' predicting sensational finish to Super Six

Carl Froch has gone into training camp in bullish mood some 12 weeks before he takes on Andre Ward in the final of the World Super Six Series. The 'Cobra' from Nottingham will attempt to unite his WBC title with the WBA strap that currently belongs to Ward, the only man to remain undefeated during the Super Six.

But Froch has kept himself in good shape since beating Glen Johnson in June, and is looking forward to putting on a show for the fans."I'm coming into the gym now at 175lb, which half a stone over my fight weight, so im in a really good position," Froch told Sky Sports News."The perfect fight for me is to outbox my opponent and catch up with him late on in the fight, realy put the pressure on and get the stoppage to excite the fans."I've been a bit disappointed in my last fights, not because i've not been in great fights, and done the business, but because i've not got the stoppage."Against Ward, I'm going to connect with a hurtful shot on the jaw section of the cranium and do some serious damage."Promoter Eddie Hearn said this was Froch's chance to become a household name."This is the big fight in his career where he can come out and be a true legend, and that's something that not many get the chance to do and he needs to grab it with both hands," he added. :bbb

A man who, at that stage of his career, was prone to a knockout by anyone in the second half of a fight. Carl is not the devestating puncher that some make out.

A stoppage is a stoppage, cant take it away from Froch. That TKO revealed alot about Froch aswell, that he can be patient when he hurts a fighter, and picks his shots well against a hurt opponent

These are qualities that make a good fighter, regardless of how big their punch is.

Froch's power is severely overrated, he has good power and that's it, he hasn't ko'ed anyone since the glass jawed Taylor and it took him 12 rounds to do that, mainly because of Jermaine's poor stamina, this ****ing ***** hasn't even dropped anyone let alone knocked them out...

After he loses he'll being saying post fight how Andre is a great fighter the better man won, I let my country down blah, blah, blah....yada yada...stfu Carl...

Surely everbody who likes boxing is rooting for the Cobra though?

Ward is the favourite but hes also a shoe in for turning people into Rip Van Winkle.:yep
