But surely allowing Cheato to weigh in at 150 makes it a better win than pulling him down to 147, no?

But the majority of Mayweather's opponents were actually coming off of good performances. You can't just ignore one of the bigger criticisms of Pacquiao here.

Clearly history will favor Pac's resume just based on names alone, though.

Clottey lost ... to Cotto. Pacquiao beat both.
Cotto lost ... to Margarito. Pacquiao beat both.
Margarito lost ... to Mosley. Pacquiao beat both.
Mosley lost ... to Mayweather. Pacquiao beat the only one willing to fight him.

A point often lost in the irrational mind of a *****.

or juicing. fighting once a year helps him cycle off them PEDS. We need to do OSDT on floyd whenever he's not fighting. That's how OSDT really works in the first place.

    Absolutely yes.

  8. You are using this word too often.

So he is fighting the losers of the losers?

Cotto got his manhood taken from him by Antonio Margarito.
    Margarito was annihilated by Mosley.
Mosley got spanked by Mayweather and had an upcoming PPV Draw
    with Sergio "Latin Snake" Mora.

They have not only lost a SD to one another, they were different fighters after that.

Pacquaio fought them at their worst. Mayweather picks them ripe and fresh

Legacy and history will tell you the same when its all said and done.

Im a fan of Manny and cant wait till Floyd suffers his first loss, but looking at it objectively, I think Floyd is more proven at welterweight. Baldomir was the true champion reguardless of being tailor made for Floyd. Also Mosley was a champion regardless of the circumstances around it. Not saying these are great wins, but its enough to put him ahead of Manny at this weight.

If both men win their upcoming fights Floyd absolutely should be regarded as the #1 welterweight in the world.

i was just stating that margo wasnt at 147 but 150. it might improve the win to some, but getting seven shades of s**t punched out of you, then getting banned for a year coming back looking like s**t against some random taxi driver is no preparation for fighting one of the best boxers around (which manny is)

Its not a coincidence how Pacmans people run their business. I like him as a fighter but they sheilded him too much. I think the fight with Cotto/Hatton were his best fights. Yet fighting them when they were at their worst has to factor in. Its fact that Hatton began to doubt himself when he felt the need to switch people. Its fact that Cotto was shot to ****. Fact that roach himself said he made sure Mosely didn't fight Manny all the while admitting he was too good for Pac and its even more of a fact that when the fight was made when asked why he wants them to fight he said its because he saw his last two fights.

totally agree i like manny, whats not to like apart from his singing, but no one can deny that he has picked fights at the right time.
i still think cotto was a good win but even he never looked the same after fighting that CHEAT

Add Ortiz to the list and its clearly Mayweather. Most of Pacquiao's opponents were either shot or weight drained or coming off horrible performances (Margarito, Cotto, Mosley, Oscar) when he fought them. Or in the case of DLH and Mosley Floyd already beat them.

Btw, Margarito wasnt a welterweight fight.

  14. And Hatton and now Marquez again (at lower weights)

When will you *******s ever learn?

De la hoya was a dead man
The Cotto fight wasn't contested @ 147lbs and Miguel was coming of off a KO LOSS
Clottey was coming off of a LOSS
The Margarito fight wasn't contested @ 147lbs and Cheatarito was coming off of a 1 year LAYOFF and a KO LOSS
    Mosley, 39, hadn't won a fight in 2.5 years
