Hennesey has been given a date. September 17th is what 5 want to get max publisity for Mayweather vs Ortiz on Primetime.

At least it seems there is some sort of quality control going on at 5.

I imagine it's on Matchroom's September 10th show in Belfast. As it appears they don't have an opponent yet, at least one of note anyway, it could be easily scrapped I'm sure.

If this fight comes off I'll be buzzing with excitement. Although I'd still prefer Audley/Fury.

I might send Mick Hennessy a large chocolate gateau from M & S. He deserves it. Getting boxing back on terrestrial TV is best thing any promoter has done for the sport this year.

Superb fight, two popular undefeated prospects risking their records, the winner will be really hot-stuff.

Timothy Dalton said on twitter that Perez is definitely on that card.
