I take it Margarito is being included to make Pacquiao's welterweight resume look more impressive?

Mayweather has the better resume at 147, also at 130, 135 and 154.

You forgot to mention that all WW's you listed for Pac were coming off losses.

Cotto - KTFO by Marg, looked like crap against Clottey
    Clottey - Lost to Cotto
Margarito - KTFO by Mosley, and fight wasn't at WW
    Mosley - Lost to FMJ

    Stopped reading right here.

Is everyone who rates Pacquiao's accomplishments higher than Floyd's a *******?

Or is it the ***** defence mechanism's automatic response?

    Oscar-Shot, Weight Drained.
    Cotto-Shot, Ruined by Marg-cheater.
    Clottey-African Tomato Can
Margarito-Ruined by Mosley, no good without plaster. A Tijuana Tomato Can.
Mosley-Finished off by Floyd. Absolutely shot to pieces.

You *******s are just full of PATHETIC excuses for your Hero.

    The FACTS remain;

De la Hoya was a DEAD man who hadn't fought @ 147 in nearly 8 years

The Cotto fight was NOT contested @ 147lbs, therefore it shouldn't be considered when assessing Pacquiao's resume @ 147lbs. Plus, Cotto was coming off of a BRUTAL KO LOSS

Clottey officially LOST his previous fight

The Margarito fight was NOT contested @ 147lbs, therefore it shouldn't be considered when assessing Pacquiao's resume @ 147lbs. Plus Margarito was coming off of a BRUTAL KO LOSS and 1 year LAYOFF

    Mosley, 39, hadn't won a fight in 2.5 years

Pacquiao hasn't beaten anyone other than punching bags since the Morales rematch...

why do you guys always discredit pacs wins at 140+? hatton, cotto, clottey are legit in my opinion. Clottey only happenned because the mayweather fight fell trough and he kind of deserved an easier fight after taking on tough fights the whole time. The Oscar fight was incredible because of the upset but he gets no credit since Oscar looked so badly affected by the weight, but thats basically his own fault he should have rehydrated, he is lucky that him cherrypicking a guy that fought at superfeather the same year is overlooked nowadays.
Margarito fight was bull**** since it was for a belt and margarito didnt deserve it at all, just a inhouse easy money fight for arum, allthough I think the brutal beating pac gave him was pretty decent.
Mosley is a bad cherrypick, not going to argue that.
He basically needs to follow up a marquez win with the floyd/ortiz winner then that will change the perspective again.

Only the Cotto fight should be respected IMO

Hatton fight was his version of what Floyd had for the Gatti fight.

Great. Now lets compare resumes of people coming off impressive wins and/or good performances leading up to the fight.

    Mayweather

    Baldomir
    Hatton
    Marquez
    Mosley

    Pacquiao
