Yes, I guess you are right that disappointed fans become the harder critics.

Another beef I have (well, pretty much the same one..) is when some fans think they are helping Bute somehow by defending him in these matters..

For example, if my GF or wife tried to blame others for her being fat then should I also just go along with it and say 'oh, yeah, don't worry.. let's just blame others for your fat ass'?

No, they are not doing Bute any favors what so ever. I think Bute can have a strong career. Can he beat ALL the top names? I don't know, but I'm confident that he can mix it up with them and I want to see that. I don't want him to freakin' waste his best years any longer. fight them whereever... a loss may even make it much easier to get other big fights... Look at Khan... he lost, so what? Kessler lost.. Froch lost... so what...? Just get on with the big exciting fights.

I recall you were on the same side as a bunch of us who helped Bute to establish a name on ESB. I might jump back away if things don't change and I-Box don't man-up and give us something very strong. No more waiting.......****ing NOW!!!

 

Yes, I was a big fan (still am, but I need to be disappointed because if we are all happy with nothing happening... perhaps nothing will happen!!!) and felt we had a really good thing before almost anyone knew about Bute.

Anyway - it is more than due time for Bute to get some big fights going. The career reel so far is looking mighty thin... :-(

No.. but Maxime and I have discussed Bute a lot though - praising him.

Bute is still good 'just' needs to step up. I don't care if he loses ... SRL, Ali, Pacman.. everyone loses. Perhaps he can get in some rematches or trilogies...

But if Interbox doesn't let him even try... nothing will happen.. until he is old.
