    I not sure if you all know but during the Haye v Wlad dance 250,000 people listened to our coverage on Five Live online. It is a Five Live record for online.
    The phone-in after the fight recorded the second highest ever total of calls to Five Live (beaten only by the MPs expenses scandal).
    There is a market for boxing on the BBC!
    The BBC London show has the highest number of downloads of any show on any BBC region.

    I will know more by Tuesday morning.

    For **** sake this is ridiculous.

    I've properly had enough of this, if they scrap this show then **** it im not paying my liscence fee ill just watch tv on my computer.

    The more I think about the prospect on the Boxing Hour disappearing the more bewildering it all seems.

    this is awful news. look forward to the boxing show all week. it is so much better than the shite podcasts and boxing talk shows that are on itunes. far more insight and interest. hope that it all works out steve!

    Knowing the beeb, you should push it as a show which regularly gives a platform for ethnic minorities and you might have a chance....

    A bit of an update. Between now and Christmas we have lost seven Thursday night boxing hours. Not half, but about 40 percent.
