i done it months ago, why pay that when i can order all my boxing for around a fiver a month on a picture perfect stream, money is tight these days too and i dont splash out or just find cheaper alternatives, im getting back the basic sky package for the kids during the winter months although i wont be getting sports with this

Why would anyone want to get rid of Sky they show the most boxing in the UK followed by Premier Sports. If anything part timers like Primetime going down the PPV route will only go 1 way and thats out of business. See Premier Sports done a deal with Spencer Fearon and Hard Knocks Boxing Promotions for 6 bills from October. This is something that is good for fight fans it may not be the best promotions company in the UK but for Premier and boxing fans it is a step in the right direction. I hope it works out for them.

If I only had the money to either pay for sky or eat food then I would go hungry because as far as I am concerened what you pay for is exellent. Also note that the majority of you fee goes towards football.

The builds ups / coverage / reviews on boxing is imo second to none and I will continue to pay for it.

If you only watch boxing then i would not bother paying for sky because for 2 hours per week its not worth it. Instead save the money every month and treat yourself to some live shows occasionally

Just be careful if you do that.

I've tried it three times [years apart] on one occasion they offered me a reduced subscription [which is what i was really after] for 6 months. Result. However on two other occasions they've simply cancelled my subscription [not what i was after] leaving me having to phone back a day or two later to re-subscribe :patsch

Sky refuse to bow down to GBP and all of a sudden they no longer are interested in big time boxing.

You people are going OTT. Sky are no longer going down the PPV route. I thought that was what you all wanted.
