What's the case for him over the average hall of famer? If someone is better than the average hall of famer, it's an easy vote. If he's not, then it's tougher. He's probably around the average, but not necessarily above average. Being the best in your weight class during a given decade doesn't necessarily make you a hall of famer, otherwise there'd be well over a thousand guys in there.

I mean, his resume drops steeply after Tito and Shane, and he beat both above their best weights. Those three wins might be barely enough. After that, a close draw with Taylor (who proved to not be that great generally), close losses to Harry Simon and Fernando Vargas, etc. You can argue he should have won those ones, but he didn't officially, and none of them fell into the stone cold robbery category.

Damn right washed up and anyone with sense knows this, we saw that after the fight, tell me this how many fights did Felix win after his fight with winky, none, Trinidad is a one dimensional fighter who if he can't impose his will and power on a fighter he loses, this ****ing loser retires after every loss, so yes he was washed up then and he's washed up now...

Well, I had his fight with Taylor a draw - it sure as **** wasn't a robbery. Also, Oscar offered Winky a career-high payday of $6m but he thought he was worth more.

HOF? Yeah, probably. He was the best, most consistent junior-middleweight of his time and he was very good at 160 too.

I was never really a fan. I love watching defensive specialists like Whitaker and even Floyd but, even when Winky was throwing lots of punches (like against Quartey) I found him hard to watch.

Simple question, do you think Mosley is a hall of fame fighter? Besides Oscar who did Mosley beat that was very good? Margarito? If you consider Mosley a hall of famer then you should consider wright to be a hall of famer as well.

I'm on the fence with this one. Wouldn't argue it too hard either way.

I found him very hard to watch as well. Maybe its because he punched with absolutely no authority. He punched to score, not to hurt.

Dude trinidad retired after losing in a shut out vs wright cause his dad wants to retired as his trainer cause he let his son down for bad instruction. And lets be clear trinidad retired the first time because the only person he wanted to fight was hopkins rematch but hopkins wanted 60/40 split in his favor cause hes the champ.

Of course if less accomplished guys like Gatti and Corrales can get in just off of heart and excitment alone.

He also retired after an equally shot Roy Jones Jr. Whopped his ass, if Trinidad would have went on to compete and win some fights after Winky then I would agree that he wasn't washed up, but he didn't so my conclusion is that he was indeed washed up, how can you debate that...

And no matter what instructions he would have received he would have still lost...

His resume is nothing special, but at his best, he was one of the very top fighters in the world for a number of years and beat some very quality fighters. I think he should get in, just not on the first ballot.

So you go by after the wright fight? Are you ******ed? Again Trinidad retired after the Wright fight cause his dad wanted to retired as his trainer. Trinidad refuse to continue fighting without hid dad by his side. And his fight vs a shot roy jones was at 170 pound catchweight in which that weight is too high for trinidad.

Mosley did a lot more than Wright overall. P4P #1 a couple times, beat about 3 times as many titlists as Winky, won titles in three weight classes, overall much tougher level of competition than Winky.

Again who did Mosley beat besides de la hoya that was very good? And besides Wright beat Mosley not once but twice and beat trinidad in a shut out.
