Evander Holyfield at cruiserweight. Unbeatable during his time and I cant see anyone in cruiser history beating him anyway

Roy Jones Junior at Super Middleweight. I cant see any super middle in history beating him

I reckon a claim could be made for Sugar Ray Robinson at welterwight. nobody beat him (or came close to beating him) at that class during his long time at the weight class though there are a few guys before and after him that could of beat him

    Ricardo Lopez at strawwegiht

It depends on how you look upon things. A 168lb Ezzard Charles or Lloyd Marshall would have a very good chance against Jones.

Again, Charles and in addition, Moore, would have a good chance at beating Holyfield at 200lbs.

I think it would be a brave man who would pick Robinson to emerge unbeaten from trilogies with Leonard and Burley.

I think it's Lopez, basically, and I wouldn't even expect him to emerge unscathed from a trilogy with Roman Gonzalez.

A good call, as good as it gets maybe. Robinson has a very good chance and both Stonehands and DPW make superb cases for Burley.

Just, on a hard enough schedule, I can't see it. Imagine this for a schedlue:

    Feb: Sugar Ray Robinson
    Jun: Sugar Ray Robinson
    Nov: Marvin Hagler
    Mar: Harry Greb
    Aug: Harry Greb
    Dec: Bernard Hopkins

You wouldn't back him to emerge with 6 w's, would you?

    Nobody.

I would say old age, but even then I'm not sure.

I honestly can't imagine anyone beating Tommy Hearns at 154. I think without the weight troubles he could withstand Leonard's late charge, he'd obliterate Vargas, Trinidad, and Oscar. And I think he'd outpoint Winky Wright like he did Benitez and the same goes for Sergio Martinez.

I'd pick Charley Burley and Holman Williams and Sugar Ray Leonard to beat Hearns at 154, based upon what I know, I think they'd all have a very very good chance anyway.

Sure, he'd come out scathed. Every fighter is bound to take a few punches in a fight. He most certainly isn't going to be losing to him, though.

Anyways, Wilfredo Gomez at Super Bantam is the only answer that's perhaps on a par with Lopez at Straw.

Why? The only pressure fighter that is anything like comparable is Alvarez who unsettled, troubled and arguably beat him. I think Gonzalez is not as awkward but brings faster pressure and throws more punches with better form...I think he has an excellent chance, and I wouldn't expect Lopez to win 3/3 against him at all.

Lopez was rattled by good pressure specifically and adversity generally.

if we're including fighters from before the weight classes were formed (ie: charles at super middle) it makes things much more interesting

i like lopez at straw, always have. in 1 fight, i don't see anyone doing the trick. over 3, it's possible

i still like jones at 168. again, other fighters would have a shot but i'd favour him over charles at that weight (not at 175) but langford has the best chance imo

ali of 67 at heavy. pure peak, no heavy beats him though louis and lewis give him hell.

at 175, i go with charles

again, these are in single fights, not trilogies. in triliogies, it's a touch trickier

It was Alvarez's unorthodox punching and strength that troubled Lopez. I also disagree that Gonzalez brought fast pressure. I don't think he's very fast on the feet. His textbook style would more than likely provide an easier proposition for Lopez than Alvarez's more free-wheel punching style.
