Pac is obviously far more proven in a much shorter period of time.

Every day you have to convince yourselves of this a,b,c garbage outlook lmao, everyday. Putting Margarito in Dlhs class is disrespectful to many here

    You're kidding, right?

The Margarito that showed up to fight Pacquiao had just been utterly DESTROYED by Shane Mosley. This is the same Shane who everybody was picking to beat Cotto if the rematch were to take place.

Oscar @ 154 wipes the floor with everyone on Pacquiao's resume. Period, end of story...

Floyd didn't fight DLH at welter. He's talking about the welterweights Floyd has fought.

Everyday you guys search for a category you think Pacquiao is better than or deserves more credit than Floyd lmao. Pacquiao does nothing in the ring better than Floyd. Clottey, Cotto, and Margarito are decent wws at best. But when you're beaten up badly by an ex flyweight, how good were they really?

    Mayweather

Mitchell: First fight at 147 testing the watters -1
Judah: Comming off a loss but thought to have a real chance to beat Mayweather going in. +/- 0
Baldomir: Record was decveing had not lost in years comming off wins over Judah and Gatti who was on a good run at the time +1
Hatton: Best 140 pounder in the world and better than anyone else at 147 at the time (Williams, Cotto & Margarito.) +1
Marquez: Top 3 Pound for pound, and not the first lightweight to jump to welterweight. The weight issue would not have made a diffrance +1
Mosley: Also top 3 Pound for pound coming off a knockout win over iron chined Margarito. +1
    4 points/6 fights AVG: 0.6
Taking away the Mitchell fight: 4 points/5 fights AVG 0.8
    Best 3 fights: 3 points/3 fights. AVG 1
    Worst 3 fights: 0 points/3 fights AVG 0

    Pacquiao

DLH: Would have been a great win if this was De La Hoya in the 90's. However at this point in his career he should have not been fighting any lower than 154. -1
Cotto: Cotto is not bad but he's not great either. He has shown that he can be worn down over the course of a fight. +1
Clottey: Human Punching bag who almost beat Cotto but didn't. That's why he got the Pacquiao fight. -1
Margarito: Another Human punching bag. At lest he punches back. Also due to the plaster wraps found before his loss to Mosley, every single one of his wins prior has to be questioned. -1
Mosley: Mosley will never look good aganst the likes of Mayweather and Mora. However I felt and still fell he is a top ratted boxer. +1
    0 points/5 fights Avg: 0
Take away any of the -1 fights: 0 points/4 fights AVG: 0
    Best 3 fights: 2 points/3 fights. AVG 0.6
    Worst 3 fights: -3 points/3 fights. AVG: -1.

Pacquiao might have the bigger names but Mayweather has fought better boxers at 147.

This thread is comparing their welterweight opponents not their light middleweight opponents. Floyd fought Oscar at LMW and Pac fought Margarito at LMW.
