If you look at all the NRL halves at the moment, they are all either rookies or missfits from other teams etc

Reynolds has just as much chance as any of these blokes to kick on, he has always been a young prodigy & has his chance

I dare say the Rorters will be looking for a new half anyway if they **** the Alcho off

They had 10 SOO players in the 08 Melbourne team. They shouldn't have come close to thrashing them like that. With or without Smith.

Manly were something else in the back end of that year.

    Grapple tackler Cam Smith?

He was out for a reason, but as Oz Puncher says, they had 10 SOO players on the park in that GF and still got thumped by Manly.

Remember how brave Crocker was in the '07 GF when he KO'd Stewart with his forearm?

He shat it every time Watmough came near him in 2008 :yep

That isn't taking into account out of the other 8, 7 were Internationals...

On an unrelated note, you and Teke will be pulling your pud silly ATM with Manly going so well.

One game at a time mate, Storm are looking the goods at the moment, Manly need to sharpen up a bit more before I'll start thinking they're a chance of getting into the GF.

They are definitely the team to beat ATM, Storm losing Kronk for two weeks is a bit of a tyre on their back.

...so by losing Cronk it's a 'bit of a tyre on their back'...or whatever that means...but losing Cam Smith...the 'go to' man in the side....a week outta the GF means **** all...:huh

    :hey:hey:hey

Benji will have a ripper of a finals series i predict... might not be a bad idea to rest one or two of our better players in the coming weeks... guys like Benji have been playing an absolute ton of 80 minute games this year

On a feel good level I'm hoping that Tigers/Warriors or Knights can come through with the goods. Not one team in the top 5 at the moment that I care for.

If Souths put together a miracle run with the kind of form they've been showing then it would make the finals a lot of fun too.
