Purrity as a very green fighter fought to draw with Morrison, knocking Tommy down twice and IMO he beat Morrison. And this is what Morrison done to Ruddock!

great post and yes tyson coulda quite in his corner in the douglas fight a la liston/ but he didnt / he took his beating like a man:good:good

 

tyson softened ruddock up for lewis............. hey dude lennox hit ruddock right on the temple...those kind of punches take your ecuilibrian away.......im not saying ruddock woulda beaten lewis but if that shot didnt land on the temple it wouldnt have been a blow out/ and tyson definetly softened ruddock for lewis/ even a woman wiould know that.....broken jaw/ broken rib/19 rds of getting beat on/

 

and in 1995 ruddock was not the same fighter ..............because tyson ruined him...fukin troll:--(

 

Plus Ruddock was red-rusted as hell against Morrison, as he hadn't fought for 15months, so he couldn't pull the trigger & finish Tommy.

 

Bull ****, if that was the case Tyson would've lost to Tucker, Bruno, and he most definitely would've lost these fights with Ruddock.

Douglas used great movement to beat to beat Tyson, everyone talks the Teddy Atlas BS, but the key for Douglas was the movement.

By the time Holyfield fought Tyson, Tyson was not nearly as skilled as he was in the 80s, against slower, less atheletic fighters in the 90s, this would not have been a problem, but Holyfield could match his hand speed and was also more skilled in 96-97, which led to his demise.

Tyson's other losses were due to him being a shell of himself, looked like pure **** against Neilson in 01.
