ive watched his fights a long time aswell..and against sanders he gave up every atribute he had over sanders to try and slug with him..which was a huge mistake..you dont think that wasnt anything to do with the fact he underestimated him therefore was underprepared??
yes he underestimated him.there fore didnt take him seriously which means he was underprepared...your saying you think im wrong then saying basicly what im saying...he gave up every atribute he had over sanders..y u ask because he underestimated him and was there fore underprepared..its pretty simple man:good:good
Did Lewis really take that much punishment in his career though? His 2 defeats were after all one punch KO's, he didn't lose in a war in those fights. The only real war Lewis was in was with Vitali. Lewis certainly could have competed at the top level into his early 40's if he really wanted too.
he took some punishment off mccall twice.rahman once...mercer..holyfield twice vitali ofcourse..he also took alot more shots when winning than wlad does hence the boring title wlad gets..thats my opinion anyway maybe you have a different one...briggs also landed some big blows on lewis..and tua to a degree lol...
I wouldn’t say Lewis took much punishment in McCall rematch, Oliver didn’t even fight back properly
Mental punishment. It takes something out of you when you see your opponent stumbling around the ring crying.
What he achieved pre steward is pretty good considering how green he was. Even more impressive is his run as the premiere hw which is 5 years and counting. We're soon surpassing frazier, tyson, holyfield, liston and dempsey if he can keep this run up. Larry was the best for 8 years 78-85 so it'll be interesting to see if wlad can match that.
