The two that come to mind are Prescott against Amir, and Lewis against Bowe, although that fight was in the Amateurs. I also vaguely remember RJJ wanting the rematch with Tarver to prove beyond reasonable doubt that he was the better fighter.. Can you think of any others?
I think Mayweather wanted a rematch on the basis that DLH come down to 147. Thankfully common sense prevailed and the fight didn't happen, albeit for the wrong reasons.
No, he demanded money, Oscar was the obvious choice. From memory the fight got shelved when DLH looked **** against Forbes and Floyd ''wanted to give his body chance to heal'' - knowing there were bucket loads of people baying for him that were more dangerous.
Didn't they agree to the fight at 147 and then Floyd said he couldnt motivate himself to train at that time and was gonna take a break. Its funny because they wouldnt even been talking about the Pacquiao fight not had he gone through with it.
Something like that. There wasn't much point in a rematch really, the first fight sucked bad, and Mayweather won clearly enough over a DLH who wasn't going to get any better. Not sure why DLH chose Pacquiao, suppose it's one of those WTF? moments now. I'd imagine Pac vs Floyd first got mentioned after that, it only went into overdrive when he made roadkill of Hatton and Cotto. Ideally we'd have seen it early 2010 but there was still demand for Mayweather vs Mosley at the time. For me the fight has lost it's appeal, if it happens it'll be two old men in there like Lewis vs Tyson was.

Call me mad if you want but I can really see Marquez extending Pacquiao to another controversial decision. He's got the knack of being able to time Pacquiao's punches and land his own, as opposed to standing there covering up and wanting to be all friendly. That's why I'm really glad at Arum seems to have shelved the plans for rematches with Clottey, Cotto and Margarito. Especially Clottey - not sure any TV company would want anything to do with him again.
