Alex Ariza on how he has Pacquiao breathe when training

    Anyone familiar with this method?

    I hear it's more common to do the opposite... breathe in through nose and exhale through mouth, but his point about simulating what your body will want to do when fatigued during a fight, is interesting.

    i have never been told to breathe only through my nose when in a contest or sparring ariza is full of ****

    It could be just one factor out of a million factors on why Ariza's fighters are at their current level.

    I have actually tried this method, and placebo effect or not, I was less winded during heated exchanges in sparring, than usual.

    I don't like to go by what I hear all the time, I like to experiment for myself.
