Barrera didn't have a clue where he was after Jones clocked him. His corner had to help him back to the stool, so it's evident he couldn't continue in the fight.

I know with my Jones avatar I sound like a nuthugger, and probably even more do due to the fact that I've already brought this up in the thread, but I don't see how that fight is controversial.

You know dat; always liked Jofre, but not dwelling in the Classic anymore I didn't see all the footage posted on YouTube in the last few months.

Has been great watching Jofre show mere mortals what plebs they are...and handing Carabello his first stoppage loss :yikes

 

I noticed there's more of his fights on there. Will definetely watch them at some point (I'm working my way back in time, disjointedly I might add, but I'm flirting with the 90's at the mo') so it may be a fair few weeks before I get to Jofre :yep

Didn't realise that the Naz/Barrera fight wasn't the first time they shared the ring together. When Barrera was recovering in his corner, Naz was congratulating Junior on his KO win, and probably discussing a future fight. No question that Jones would have taken it (At his own peril, Naz KO) so I wonder why it didn't happen...?

I haven't forgotten mate. It's a shame none of his fights are on sweetboxing. You can normally get most of a fighters career on there :-(.
