Not sure if he know's the meaning of the word.

He'll do what he wants to do. I can't imagine how his wife puts up with him!

It's my understanding that Golota helped train Abner Mares prior to his **** punching rampage last night

Not sure if any of you guys heard, but Jenna and I did a segment on Golota last week and I described my feelings in detail.

In short, I don't like the idea of Golota ever fighting again.

I don't either, really. He should just stick to skiing and living the good life after boxing. I really dont see the point in a farewell fight against some bum he could possibly lose to. He's embarrassed himelf enough over the last what, fifteen years? He should take pride in the fact that he was part of two of the most historical bouts in boxing history (Bowe), was a very entertaining guy to watch back in his prime, was the first eastern eruopean fighter to make some noise in the HW divsion, should have been declared champion after Byrd and Ruiz, made some nice wealth to retire on and just forget about ever stepping back into the ring again.

    :thumbsup

I wouldn't mind seeing this dude fight again, he's always entertaining, and that's what this sport is truely about, being entertained (see butterbean and kimbo lol)

You can't be entertaining if you can't make it out of the first round. And if Lamon Brewster and Ray Austin are preventing you from coming out for the second, then to win a farewell fight, you really have to go down to grade C fighters or worse. And Kevin McBRide probably won't take a rematch at this point.

It would be interesting to see Golota against Rahman though...

No one said that he has to fight top fighters like brewster, in a farewell fight he'd fight someone with little experience, a nobody, someone who has a local following wherever they would hold this. (In Poland perhaps? like his adamek fight?)

If Adamek beats Vitali, Golota's stock will go up. :D

Hell even lighting punching Adamek had Golota down in the first round and ended up knocking him out. Kevin McBride (who's not known for great power despite his size) almost knocked Golota out in the first round. I'm amazed he stood up to Mollo's punches.

I think whatever chin Golota had left in him was shattered forever when Brewster demolished him. Ever since that fight Golota's chin is just terrible. At this point I really think even a total bum could knock him out.

Golota was a decent fighter who should have been world champion, unfortunately he was frequently let down by the top 6 inches of his body...

Unless he's desperate to end his career with a W then he should never step through the ropes again. If he does come back for a farewell fight then he's going to need to fight a true journeyman fighter, someone like Gabe Brown, Julius Long, Rob Calloway; etc. And even they may need to be slipped a few extra notes to encourage them NOT TO HIT HIM ON THE CHIN AT ALL.
