Following on from the Ruiz/Lewis post [which lefthook31 made very entertaining] how would Bowe Ruizs pan out??
I agree Bowe would win, but do you not think that Ruiz could make it difficult or at least very ugly for quite a few rounds?
I think Ruiz could cause problems for anyone post Tua. He was awkward as hell. So to answer your question, realistically, yes.
Speed factor man. Thats the thing that made Ruiz difficult to deal with. Holyfield had pretty good speed in his old age comparably speaking and he had a difficult time timing Ruiz. Compare that to the 6'4 Lewis and Bowe, and any big man is going to struggle a bit with him.
Bowe KO3, he rapes Ruiz on teh inside And in teh clinches. Riddy is too big And too strong for Ruiz to win with his man-hugging, cos he will manhandle teh hairy little Quiet Man.
Based on what I saw from both of them at their respective peak. Just because you accomplish more doesnt make you a better skilled fighter. Bowe was a better fighter than Lewis in my opinion. He had more overall tools, and more ability overall..
