floyd has been in the welterweight division since 2005. when all the top guys are fighting each other back in 2007-2009, floyd was fighting oscar, hatton and marquez. it took floyd 5 years to fight a real welter challenge in mosley and we saw that mosley was shot by the time floyd fought him. evidence was his performance against floyd and his two suceeding performance.

so which floyd win at welter is better than the cotto win? i hope you will not say mosley.

mosley was really on the way down and he was floyd's best win at the weight and floyd took 5 years to make this kind of fight. pacquiao fought a top, prime welter in cotto in his 2nd fight at the weight. and cotto continued on his winning ways after the pac defeat. mosley did not do anything after floyd had beat him, clearly a shot fighter.
