The scores only seem relatively close because Barrera had a point taken. If Barrera had been behind on the cards, or if it was a close fight, he probably wouldn't of taken liberties and tried to ram Hamed's head into the ring post.

Hamed made an offer to JMM while Marquez was already scheduled to fight another opponent. Great PR move by Hamed after all the ****
he was getting for petitioning so many times for optional defenses to avoid fighting JMM.

Nah, Barrera beat him good and like Steward said, it would have been very difficult preventing a TKO if he had been more offensive on the night.

That's because he got exposed and knew it. Khan is the real deal, Naz was a fake. The only thing he was good was the silly ring entrace, talk, and silly flashy moves that got him major public attention. Once he tried the fancy moves on mab and it didn't work, he knew he got exposed

Naseem wasn't a fake like some people here claim, but I think he understood that he wasn't quite on the level of a guy like Barrera. The Prince was a fun, exciting fighter, but to really reach the top he'd have to work hard on some of the fundamentals, change his style a bit, do some serious work in the gym. I guess he didn't feel up for that, but he had a good career all the same. It's a shame that he didn't perhaps fulfill his potential, but he is neither the first nor the last to flicker out like that. Doesn't mean he deserves to hear ****, though.

Naz never got knocked out in a round.

Naz was good at a lot of things, he was an arrogant **** but the guy could fight like **** but a lot of people let his attitude get in the way of that

Khan *may* surpass Naseem in the future, but he hasn't done it just yet imo as things stand. Let's see what happens when Khan gets in there with anyone as good as a prime Barrera; he may have the goods, but then again, he may not.

Actually I don't think he understood it at all, and that was the problem, he got to the point where he thought all he had to do was turn up, and he was automatically the winner.. his training for barrera was an absolute joke , and no, that's not an excuse, barerra was a demon and I think Naseem was shook to the core at how he was manhandled and outclassed in that fight (hamed was a really strong guy too, he threw about and body slammed a few opponents through his career, but barrera turned the tables) and he couldn't get over it.

you thick ****, he was 27 and the richest boxer in british history, leaving ingle was the end of naz's career

...naz would have shattered khans jaw worse than prescott, how is naz a fake and khan the real deal when khan lost top a bum and hasnt achieved half of what naz has?
