I am an avid Floyd fan and have watched his career with great interest for a number of years and am certain he will look his best for years and i am sure he will get the knockout.

In his last 6 fights he has only scored one knockout.

Zab Judah fight i believe he could of stopped Zab (corner pullout) but because of all the commotion Floyd just coasted to victory. Even still Zab at the time was dangerous and performed amazingly the first few rounds.

Oscar, Shane and Marquez all had world class chins and between them only Oscar has ever been stopped and that was by a huge Bernard at middleweight.


The Baldomir fight was an easy fight and Floyd won with one hand. Baldomir was a tough customer with a great chin only been KO'ed when he was much less experienced and also when past it by Alvarez.

The Hatton fight was the only one in all 6 where he was against a guy who had little defense. That was why the acculumation caused Hatton to go.

Victor Ortiz is very wide open and it is likely that with his aggressive style he will get caught a lot at a similiar rate at which Hatton was hit. Plus he hasnt got the chin of Baldo, Oscar, Shane or Marquez and its unlikely there will be similar controversy as in Zab fight to prevent the knockout.

Floyd has handpicked this guy and will beat him up and brutally stop him providing the illusion that he's better than ever. I completely believe him he wont run !!

Ortiz has a better chance to KO Floyd than just about anyone on FLoyd's resume.

 

I agree about Floyd's KO percentage in his last fights. All these guys have very good chins and were mostly bigger than him.

Floyd is not durable. He will get smashed by Ortiz. Just not good at 147.
Once he realizes Ortiz is not an old man he can use his legs against and tries to stand and trade it is all over. Thank god there is Gary Russell Jr, Ward and Broner to look forward to.. the new era.
