It's anticlimactic. Mosley is still great, but not the fighter he once was, and no longer big money material (if he had beaten Cotto decisively, this would be a different story). Floyd and Oscar are only interested in blockbuster fights. Floyd will either end up rematching Oscar or fighting Cotto. IMHO.

Nobody would give Floyd any credit for beating Shane after Cotto already beat him.

Wish Shane would have won that Cotto fight. If so, the fight between Mosley/Mayweather would have already been signed.

how could Floyd justify fighting the guy that Cotto just beat, while avoiding Cotto? Let's be serious here, no one is gonna line up to see Mayweather/Mosley.

Golden Boy and Floyd are weighing their options. Those two teams have made well over $100mil in the last year together. They will develop a plan for '08 and then a contingent plan for '08. If a fight with Mosley makes sense ($$$$) to all then thats what will happen.

if he can beat him by knockout, for by wide ud (10 rounds to 2 for example) he will get loads of credit.
