For the biased Scene idiots and *******s that only post part of the article, here is a link to the whole thing: http://articles.latimes.com/2011/aug/17/sports/la-sp-pacquiao-mayweather-20110818

That said, this part was particularly interesting.

Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter, says his fighter is willing to accept being subjected to blood testing rules under the World Anti-Doping Agency code, which keeps the blood sample schedule unannounced. Pacquiao had previously said he didn't want to be tested within 14 days of a fight.

"You can't have a window where an athlete knows he'll not be tested," said Travis Tygart, head of the USADA. "Unannounced testing is part of the deterrent."

Arum said the tricky part of a testing program will be in establishing consequences for events like a missed test, or for a banned prescription drug that is prohibited in the Olympics.

Arum wants a state boxing commission, like Nevada's, to have a say in establishing such guidelines to avoid an unreasonable fight cancellation.

Arum wants to know what happens when Manny fails a test. :patsch

There's a flipside to this. Of all the people dying for a fight with Pac, Floyd is the ONLY one crying about testing. How does that make him look?

your "simple question" is called a straw man fallacy

now, get back to the point of whether or not floyd sr. is floyd jr., his trainer, his adviser, his promoter, his lawyer, his cutman, his cornerman, his PR rep...

Unreasonable fight cancellation!? I'd say if either combatant is caught cheating, cancelling the fight would be plenty reasonable.

Arum knows something. He just wants to make sure he'll still get paid if/when his boy is unable to beat the tests.

I don't know what e-mail you're talking about, but this is from the L.A. Times. A reputable source. This isn't some jackass posting an Examiner article from his basement.

I started watching Pacquiao when he beat Barerra the first time. I actually wanted Barerra to win in that fight. Been following Pacquiao ever since. What are you talking about?

i just read it like arum is going to kill the fight over nit-picking the testing

agree to testing for the press, but then nit-pick the testing making it utterly impossible to conduct, then say, it's not us, it's the doping agency that is preventing the fight

floyd sr. may be not or maybe inside floyd's camp but his voice of PED's allegation was taken seriously by his son. so it is not really far-fetched for his son to follow his father's advice once more no matter how stupid or less likely it would be.

Floyd himself said he lost the urge and wanted to take a vacation. Yet you make excuses for that too don't you *****?

Of course it's about Money for the guy who calls himself "MONEY". He's just mustered up the courage to address the PAC fight and reveal his intentions of going through with it. This LONG after PAC addressed and accepted ALL of Floyd's demands for extra testing. If Floyd is taking this risk, he damn sure ain't doing it for peanuts.

He's going to go after as much money as possible just in case he ends up with a first loss to help soften that blow, if it becomes reality. The delay, excuses and elusiveness of Floyd has probably helped fatten the pot which is probably why Floyd looks as if he's going to take the fight. He knows the money is as big as it's going to get before it begins to lose it's appeal.

The same LA times that reported that the Nortorious BIG was rolling with the crips and was in Las Vegas the night 2Pac was murdered saying he paid the crips to kill 2Pac despite tangible proof against that.

to play along with your dumb ass....how do you know floyd sr. was the first to mention PEDs?

all you know is he is the first to publicly speak of it (which i believe is false, as i think it was shaefer)

for all you know, sr. was just stating publicly what his son told him privately
