Are you suggesting floyd accepted a 7 day cut off to make the fight?

It would be hard to suggest anything as we weren't actually there....neither were you...so your guess is as good as mine. Greenburg would be the best source in all this as he has no agenda and has no reasons to take sides.

the negotiations "failed" because floyd suddenly took a vacation catching greenburg and even oscar by surprise. remember that schaeffer and ellerbe tried to cover his vacationing ass by saying the infamous lines "there was no negotiations". and floyd said those lines "no urge" during his racist-rant video.

Negotiations failed because pac did not accept random testing. Therefore when ellerbe came out and said there were no negotiations, what he was implying was that there has been nothing to talk about as they have not accepted FLOYD MAYWEATHER'S demands. Hence there is no negotiations.

Now people may have been trying negotiate a fight with pac, but they weren't doing it on behalf of floyd, or doing their job properly, because if they were then this agreeing to 7 day cut off would have been dismissed completely.

Knocz clearly states they agreed to a 7 day cut off, floyd clearly states he want's no cut off, so what on earth could they have been negotiating, what on earth was greenburg suggesting? Someone was working out a deal which they fought maybe acceptable but when it came back to floyd it was not.

Hence why floyd was seen with Don king over and over again.

So a 70 million dollar fight was stopped because Pacquiao took an ass whipping 5 years ago, third world superstition, and ******ation.

Thanks for clearing that up *******. :rofl

looking back at the time, they stopped at 14 days cut-off and 24 days cut-off. so even if koncz is correct and 7 days was the actual offer, it was a significant concession from pac's team and if floyd really wanted the fight, could have taked it.

but the issue back then is not the cut-off anymore but floyd's sudden vacation while the negotiations are doing well according to greenburg and oscar. if floyd has problem with 7 days cut-off, he should of said it on negotiations. but where did floyd go?

:yep the yes man will never do that.
No Floyd said that was a straight up lie. He said he never asked for that when Ben Thompson asked him about it
Didn'y you know man. Floyd can up with the OSDT thing to duck Manny. He even offered a 14 day cutoff compromise to make it seem like he wasn't ducking.
he also used this to duck Ortiz and Mosley.
I hear Andre Ward is planning on ducking Carl Froch with this OSDT thing also

Yeah, because Manny didn't want to come into his biggest fight weakened. That doesn't sound right to you? Unlike Floyd, Manny cares about his legacy, not just money(Floyd claims that he doesn't care about his legacy). So let's do this. Had Mayweather asked for Winnings glove to be used by Pac, you think Pac would have agreed to that? A simple yes or no will do.

trying hard to read in to it too much. The problem here is that OSDT is a test for olympians and this type of test is going to be brought in to the professional level. Personally, I would already disregard OSDT credibility in this situation since they test olympians year round and yet there are fighters that are coming out of the woodwork saying they took roids. That is with a standard procedure and yet people still fail. How effective is OSDT when they only test for 4 months when they normally test olympians year round?

so if that's the reason, why did not floyd made it clear that he was taking a vacation because pac's team only offered a 7 day cut-off? he never mentioned it and just offered a simple reason that he has "no urge" to fight.

let me guess, you would be making an excuse for floyd yet again. that he lost his urge to fight because pac would not take a no-cut off.
