I heard team Bute lowballed Kessler....

Kessler: The offers received from Bute was the same as him saying that he did not want to fight me. It would be the equivalent of us offering him one danish krone to come to Denmark. I'd very much like to fight Bute, but it has to be reasonable.

1 danish krone = like 10 cents right?

Bute is waiting to make big money and he won't risk losing out on him vs super six winner to fight someone as dangerous as Kessler.

That's fine and all, except Bute's team's offer was more than double what Kessler is making to fight Stieglitz.

It's not my quote... Kesslers own words. But then again Bute has been saying nobody wants to fight him...

I must say (biased or not) I really think Kessler wants Bute.

He was offered nearly $3.5M to fight Bute and says he was lowballed. Pavlik heard about how much more Kessler was offered than he was and pulled out of his fight. Meanwhile, Kessler just accepted $1.4M to fight Stieglitz.

It might not be a bad business decision at the end of the day (Stieglitz will be an easy night's work for Kessler), but let's call a spade a spade here. He can't claim to be lowballed by someone and then accept a fight for less than half of the offer right afterwards and expect people to sympathize too much.

He was offered $ 750K + danish ppv rights. The fight would be in the middle of the night in Denmark... Only hardcore boxing fans would watch it. 3,5 mill.... Pfffftttt

sorry but why is Bute being given a pass to fight the super six winner ? what's going on he needs to earn that not just fight bums and waltz in for big money against the S6 winner.Exactly what has Bute done thus far ? nothing much is the answer.
It's just deluded Canadian fans getting hyped over this guy and he's not even canadian is the funny thing.

$750k, plus his portion of his Showtime contract, plus his portion of his German TV rights, plus the Danish TV rights. My recollection is that his TV contract he signed with the Super 6 entitled him to about $3M per fight. Showtime and the German networks certainly would have honored that for a Bute fight. The German one still might for Stieglitz, but Showtime's not paying him anything for this one.

Considering the amount Bute would take it was a lowball offer. Not even close to 50/50 which is ridiculous as I think it would be fair if the visiting fighter would get the lions share.

    It was a lowball allright.

Only danish rights. Worldwide rights would be Bute's as well as the gate, the showtime money etc.

So I guess you believe Bute would go to Copenhagen while being at the low end of a 60/40 or 70/30 pursesplit?
