Guessing...maybe kats thinks having a belt will help him get the morales fight or any of the name guys for that matter. A bargaining chip for him. As much as this belt is bs to us, it means something to the fighters.

mate....it's a juicy fight that's for sure...it's got fight of the year written all over it...I just reckon it's a odd matchup as far repositionin' Kat's for another title shot...Lovemore is too big...he's got a granite chin...I can't see Mick stoppin' him...there's quite a few intangibles in this match up..

Not a great match up for Kats.

He's going to have to last the distance with a guy like Ndou...... And will suffer some punishment even if he wins.

I'd rather him take on another easy fight with a 3rd or 4th KO to get the confidence up and then challenge Morales in a good pay day earlier next year.

He will beat Ndou... dont know why some of you are so worried, and he doesn't mind going 12 rounds... did it in his second pro fight

mate..Kats' is a face fighter who relies on wearin' the other guy down..trouble is..Ndou..the bigger man has impeccable conditioning and a granite chin...he ain't goin' nowhere..and he's happy to go 12 too...

Aware that Ndou's other opponents to date have had more power and calibre than Katsidis to an extent, but I personally think Katsidis will stop him via body shot accumulation. He looked really strong against lozada, albeit only lasting 3 rounds and lozada not giving much back. Just the way his body looked physically and those cracking body shots. He looked 'refreshed' at his new weight.

    My prediction/opinion only.

Ndou aint Guerrero (who to me looked bigger than a welterweight the night he fought Katsidis) and Ndou certainly aint no Juan Manuel Marquez

Agree he's a solid fighter, and this will be a much more even fights than Michaels fight with Lozada, but not sure there should be so much worry for Katsidis. Ndou should be damn prepared to be in a fight just as much should he not?

mate...I'm a Rocky fan but my gut feelin' is that Ndou spells danger...Ndou might not be as good as the blokes you've mentioned but I bet he carries as much power...
...I think they're both probably evenly poised as far a championship rounds are concerned so I've no doubt both guys know what this fight means...

i dont see why people are worried either.

its gonna take a lot for 40 year old lovemore to get down to 140...light welterweight is perfect for kats...the weight drained lovemore might even get stopped.
