How can this midget start fighting and losing professionally at 106 then later own in his career jump to 154 pounds and knock out giants? Well James Toney did it!!!!!!!!! James Toney start off fighting at around 160 pounds. is your proof it can be done!!!!!!!!! Then he moved up to heavyweight fighting at arounf 240 pounds!!!! He knocked out evander hoyfield (which is almost unknockoutable) and John Ruiz!!!!! to be the heavyweight champion!!!! OH yeah, I forgot, he was caught using steroids in those fights and FREDDIE ROACH was his trainer at the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 If you dont beleive the roach was in the corner watch the vid This content is protected
Why try to convince people with this? There's an EASIER proven method, it's called... RANDOM BLOOD TEST!!! Class dismiss
it can be done, my friend. guillermo jones started out at 148 pounds in his first fight. he is now the WBA cruiserweight champ at 200lbs. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=7532&cat=boxer
You act like weighing 147 on fight night makes you small. That actually means you're a normal size welter. Manny has weighed 147 since his 130 days. Granted, guys like Ortiz weigh much more, but that just means he's a big welter.
Who gives a ****, to be honest, 10 lbs doesn't make a difference when the skills are there, the reach is similar.
What is the point of this thread? And Toney is fat as crap at heavyweight. He's talking about going down to cruiserweight right now. Blah w/e
He's not that small, judge him against guys who career campaign at 147 rather than guys who went there for a fight or two before going up to 154. Cotto was not "huge" compared to Pacquaio. Hatton was actually smaller than Pacquaio.
so there is actually no small welter, only normal size welters and big size welters. i agree but if both same-skilled fighter and one is naturally bigger than the other, who normally wins?
