If anything a win in the ams the only effect it has is a mental one in the pros. It all really depends on the fighter as a pro and for the most part it does not matter at all. If anything, most fighters at the pro level want to destroy and prove their loss to their old rival was a fluke. Every now and then you get a case like Mosley having Oscar's number, but then you can clearly see Oscar beat him in the rematch. Forrest clearly had Mosley's number. If Khan was to beat Victor it's because he greatly improved as a pro, not what happened in the ams.

So before Maidana beat Ortiz Khan asked everyone on Twitter who he thought would win out of Mayweather and Ortiz? Really? :huh

No moron, Khan has been bringing up the fact that he beat Ortiz in the AMs long before Ortiz even signed to fight Maidana...

Very true. Cotto got beat 17-4 in the Sydney Olympics which is a losing very handy. He fought the same fella a few years later in the pros and stopped him in 5 or 6 rounds I think.

Has the man ever come off as humble? May have tried, but I don't recall him ever successfully pulling it off.
