in a years time i think khan would pose a lot more problems to mayweather.

im not saying he would win but with his longer reach and marginally faster hands floyd would have to go looking for khan, amir would be on the move letting straight shots go and i think floyd would find his speed hard to deal with.

on the other hand the pacman would be coming towards floyd giving him plenty of options to counter him, floyd is to cute for him and if pac is hesitant he would get made to look silly.

you can see from the mosley fight that pac would struggle and i think floyd would stop him!

The only thing the Mosley fight told us, was that if you run like a mother****er, you'll only get knocked down once en route to losing every single round of the fight.

As for Khan, he's not experienced enough, nor dynamic, to be more of a threat to Floyd than Pac. Even in a year's time.

styles make fights, pacman would hesitate against floyd and get picked to pieces. he didnt want to dive in against mosley so he would do the same with floyd.

if amir stayed on the back foot he would pose floyd major problems, pacmans style would be eating straight rights and left hooks all night, he is there to be hit. there is no one better to prove that then mayweather!

Khan landed 21% of his punches against Zab Judah.

That translates to what, 10% against Floyd?

I dont know if Mayweather can handle a pure thorobread boxer like King Khan... hes seemed to do well against pressure fighters but not pure boxers with handspeed and power like khan

You call it hesitating (not that I think Pac will), but I call it waiting for openings and waiting to create angles to attack.

I agree that Khan staying out of range and not constantly commiting himself, may steal him some rounds at the beginning.

Guess we'll just have to see.

You don't have to land punches to win rounds from Floyd. Refer to Paulie Malignaggi's recent comments.

thats what alot of people do with mayweather and it is their downfall.

pacman would have to commit to be effective but as floyd says everyone always has a plan but its a lot easier said then done. the man is a boxing genius!

Khan is not as dynamic as pac and floyd has superb defense against predictable fighters. Khan has no chance!

The only fighter to ever win rounds off of Floyd on pure activity was Oscar. And he was by far the bigger and stronger man, with a great jab. Oscar was disciplined, picked off Floyds punches with his gloves, cut off the ring, and jabbed him to the ropes, then went to work. Didnt land **** but it looked impressive to the judges.

Every other fighter who's tried to "outwork" Floyd has been beat down.

Khan and his wild flurries where he leaps in off balance and doesnt sit down on his punches would get picked apart and brutalized.

Khan won easily because it was Zab Judah.

Pacquiao and Khan basically have the same style. Except Pacquiao has better stamina, strength, power, speed, chin and timing.

Pacquiao is far more dangerous to Mayweather then his Freddie Roach coached clone Khan.

i disagree about the styles. pac works a lot of angles while khan has his hands high whilst moving in and out.

pac is alot more likely to stand and trade where khan will get his shots off then retreat.

khans reach is longer and he is quicker on his feet which would be vital in a mayweather fight.

and its close with hand speed!

Pacquiao uses the same high guard, unlike as you said Khan moves in straight lines, Pacquiao moves in angles. Which means Khan is easier to predict.

Pacquiao hits hard with every punch, Khan shoe shines.

Just dont see Khan posing any threat to Mayweather.
