The first offer is part of negotiation process. You don't offer something the "guy can't refuse" on your first communication. Johnson refused the first offer, said he was getting almost nothing, and received 300 000$ dollar more and the end of the day.

The difference between Johnson and Kessler, is that the former did negotiate after the first offer, while the latter used that first offer, called it low-balling, and finally signed with Stieglitz without even doing a counter-offer.

And now he is trying to make people believed that the Bute's offer means that the montrealer didn't want to fight him... I mean WTF!

    It is clear ducking.

I am not saying that Kessler don't want to fight Bute next time around, this time with a belt, with higher negotiating leverage. Kessler saw an opportunity with the Stieglitz fight, and he took it by pulling out of the Bute fight. Hope that fight will be done some time around. I can't believe though that he is trying to make Bute responsible for his clear ducking this time.

Sauerland said they made a counteroffer. Interbox said they didn't receive one. Pick your poison.

    So stop this BS.

Kessler did not pull out of a Bute fight. It was never signed. Bute has been exposed as a low-balling fraud that refuses to leave his backyard and fight a prime, elite level SMW.

    Saurland ducked Interbox

    Plain and simple.

Interbox confirmed 2 days ago that they received 1 written offer in the last 5 years for Bute

and it was from Froch in 2009 and bute wanted to finish the Andrade Casse (second fight)

Interbox said that they ducked Froch in 2009.....

so i believe them when they say that Saurland has never answered the calls and nevers get back to them with no counter offer

I thought this at first but now I just do not care to debate anymore. They both have two good fights set ( Lucian Bute Vs. Glen Johnson & Mikkel Kessler Vs. Robert Stieglitz ) and hopefully they can come to a deal and have a fight at some point.

Kessler did want the easier option in the talentless Stieglitz who poses very little risk to him.

We'll see where each of them go from here.

I have nothing against the fact he took the rational option for him, witch will give the most krone. But he didn't have to be a jerk and blame Bute in the media afterword.

How is it considered "ducking" When its his 2nd FIGHT BACK from a long lay-off! Of course You take the EASIER route, get more rounds in, win the belt, and then Fight BUTE.

It would have been stuped for Kess to jump right in with BUTE.

**** you're stupid. You were probably one of the Butards that were jerking off when Kessler flew in to watch Bute fight that tomato can Magee, thinking the fight was on.

Johnson will be Bute's best win in his career, should he beat him. A 42 year old with 15 losses. :rofl:rofl:rofl
