overrated? He said hes too young to be hit like that and hes not getting hit like that for nobody

he quit a fight he was winning and now he has the nerve to call maidana a ***** and accuse him of ducking

he barks at anyone who mentions his pathetic quittage.

Cotto will KO Vic... Cotto got power and he box decently sure his got issues with fighters that he can't hurt or pose his will but against Vic, he will surely can... Vic never fought an elite fighter and Cotto is a very experienced fighter. Cotto even won against a younger version of Mosley compare to Floyd jr. and Pac. Vic is too green for Cotto.

Right, Duran had a real reason. He had to take a ****. :p

Duran actually admitted in Sports Illustrated a few years after the fight that he quit there because "he wasn't getting knocked out like a fool."
Theres no difference other than Duran is more respected.

Cotto would be too much for Ortiz. I like Ortiz but he would be broken down mentally.

Maybe we'll find out soon enough. He'll probably move up to 154 after Jr kicks his ass, with the excuse that he was weight drained at 147.

duran wasnt talking **** about the man who made him quit.

Victors quittage was disgusting and should forever haunt him

he has a habit of that in training apparently according to robert garcia.

All you are doing is criticizing Cotto (the Rican) and just saying Ortiz (The Mexican) would win. You aren't saying jack **** how.

YTou want to croticize Cotto for fading late in some fights? Look at who those were against. Top guys. Ortiz hasn't even come close to facing the guys Cotto has. Berto, that's it to date for Ortiz. His HUGE win, over a fighter most saw as protected himself.

When Cotto loses to guys like Maidana or can't beat guys 20 pounds smaller like Peterson, then you might have a point. Or, lets revisit in 2-3 years when Ortiz might be ready to take Cotto out.

But it's fairly obvious why you chose ythat way.

Yes I agree it is overused slightly, but I was merely using it to highlight the fact that Ortiz is vulnerable when dragged into the trenches by an aggressive fighter full of heart (an attribute that Cotto has willingly demonstrated in the past).

Same thing. Duran fans don't care for the Ortiz comparision but its very, very similar except Ortiz had actually taken more of a beating.

Point is, one fight doesn't define a fighters career. Ortiz showed plenty of heart against Berto.

I think Maidana would perform better than Vic against Berto.

The post wasn't about Sweet Pea, maybe you should read it to yourself once or twice.

Many great fighters have quit, what's you're point? Hell, Cotto quit in the middle rounds against Pacman and Margarito, and was saved by the ref several rounds, and punches, later. Sweet Pea quit on Friday Night Fights after hurting his shoulder.. Maybe he should have fixed it in between rounds like Hopkins, right?

The Maidana loss was the best thing that ever happened to Ortiz.. He's a better fighter now. We can talk about losses all day on here, but what matters is how you comeback.

It's a ****ed up topic to begin with.. The undefeated, Miguel Cotto before 12 rounds of hell against Margarito? All a poster has to do is say look at their resumes and continue to back Cotto.

no one and i mean no one ever quit like whortiz and then had the nerve to give a pathetic excuse like he did.

Ortiz quit against a b level fighter old man morales schooled

and stop comparing whoretiz to elite fighters such as pacquiao.
