Kessler clearly ducked him and a career high payday for less money vs the paper champ Stieglitz who's belt is worthless. pathetic from a so called "warrior"

750K + his own tv-money is far from a career payday, but do carry on.

    So why no counter offer.

There was no counter offer. Interbox sait it nemerous of times and Larouche (Bute's trainer said it again yesterday) NO counter offer. Even Kessler and his management never talked about a counter offer

It's easy Kessler and Saurland did not want to fight bute this time around. Maybe later.

    It's not hard to admit

We dont know everything, thats true. But in his critics of the offer from Interbox, Kessler said that the offer wasnt good, but he never mention that Interbox refuse his team offer... He said to the world that Bute didnt want to fight him. But he didnt said that Interbox refuse an offer, he just said that Interbox offer was ridiculous. If his team had made an offer, it was the perfect time for Kessler to told the world how Bute duck him, but he didnt.

I think it's clear Kessler turned down this one no what matter money he was offered. I don't think he's scared though, a man who travels to Wales to fight Calzaghe and Oakland for Ward, would not duck Bute. I'm sure he'll elect to face the Froch/Ward winner.

Nah. The focus in the interview was on Stieglitz. Not Bute.

You guys cannot spoil my enjoyment of this awesome SMW schedule this autumn. I can understand your dissapointment that Bute didn't get Kessler this time I really can, but this is getting ridiculous.

Really I would have like Kessler/Bute, but I dont mind it too much anymore. Its just that yesterday Kessler could have said: "it will be a big night with both Bute and me on Showtime the week after the final of the S6, it will be very entertaining for the fans, etc etc". Instead he decide to say some weird stuff like: Bute offered him the likes of 1 krone and that in his view Johnson is harder to fight than Ward!!! It is ridiculous because unfortunately Kessler's team and Kessler make it so.

Bute, showtime and others should be happy that Kessler picked Johnson since that'll help promote the fight.

I think Kessler picks the wrong winner, but he obviously found that Johnson was a crafty fellow when they sparred and that overhand right is definetely still dangerous. Just ask Allan Green.

Well, maybe he shouldn't have come to Montreal, saying he wouls come here to kick Bute's ass. Anyway, I don't think Kessler had a word to say about his opponent.

It would not have been Kessler's money. All the TV rights are owned by the promoter of the event, including Denmark. The TV money is part of the deal. it is a good idea to let it to the team who's able to promote it the best.

The article says that Sauerland has reached the editor to deny the numbers that have been told. The actual purses are below those amounts.

"But in no way did the purses reach the level that was quoted in the Danish paper."

Kessler saying Interbox was lowballing: don't believe your manager Mikkel. You may be surprised one day to learn he wasn't telling you everything.

Interbox offer was lowballing even if it was higer than what he will get against Stieglitz. Wow. Sauerland also said he negociated for 2 months to get that fight. That began around mid-June. I think we can conclude that Sauerland never wanted a Bute fight. With that in mind, only a super offer could have made him changed his mind.

Anyone still saying that it is Bute's fault if the fight is not happening is biased. I can understand they go for Stieglitz but stop the bull**** about Bute and Interbox please. Stop the accusations of lowballing when you never had the intention to negociate. That is ridiculous.

  15. Who are these two to even have the privilege of using the word "duck"?

Damn these wannabes. Make a name for yourself first for godsakes.
