Got his **** pushed in and ran? He won those fights.. Cotto's the one who ran and had his **** pushed in those two losses. Y'all musta forgot!! But I guess that's okay since this is the version of Miguel Cotto before his 12 round knockout loss this topic is about.

I think even today's Cotto would stop the inexperienced Ortiz at 147

cotto fought 11 rounds against a beast margo with a broken nose, broken orbital bone and a broken jaw, swallowing his own blood, ortiz quit a fight he was winning against some argentinan puto called chino :rofl

ortiz ran from nate cmapbell, no not amir khan, not tim bradley, not even lamont peterson but grandpa campbell! :rofl

also that b level bum landed right hand after right hand on whortiz making him hesitate to come forward

imagine what margo and pac would do to ortiz.

Victor Ortiz: Maidana Will Have To Earn His Ass Whipping!

We may not see a rematch between Victor Ortiz and Marcos Maidana in the immediate future. In June of 2009, almost two years ago, Maidana stopped Ortiz in the sixth round of their war. Ortiz (29-2-2, 22KOs) has gone 5-0-1 since loss, and the win streak includes the most impressive win of Ortiz's career - the twelve round unanimous decision over Andre Berto to capture the WBC welterweight title.

Ortiz, who says Maidana (30-2, 27KOs) refused to give him a rematch in the past, wants Maidana to earn his shot at the title.

"That was just a waste of your long breath that you just took [asking about Maidana rematch]. He's not even on my level. Now he's got to earn his ass whipping. I don't need to waste my time on him. 147 is a great division with great fighters, and I want to get in the ring with the best of the best. All of the greats, I want them,"

Cotto gets rocked and/or gets off the canvas to score a late TKO.

:patsch DO you understand being pushed to the limit by the guys Cotto fought, and who Ortiz fought? But you're a floyd fanatic. Ortiz can do now wrong to guys like you. He's a YOUNG HUNGRY LION!!

I understand that Ortiz is coming off an impressive win, but we also have to remember that was against over-rated Berto. The Cotto from the Margo fight would beat up the Ortiz that fought Berto, maybe late TKO.

This is something I have stated over and over. Personally, while I think Ortiz did good in that fight vs. Berto, I think it said more about Berto then Ortiz actually.

Before Margo brick fisted Cotto into submission Cotto was boxing the best I've ever seen him do. Ortiz wouldn't bring that type of pressure and Cotto had much success with lefty's like Judah and Quintana. Ortiz is NO PAC MAN, but no one besides maybe the southpaw Martinez is in that league.
