We don't know, Khan is untested against a prime young champion, unlike Ortiz.

Khan is a good fighter but we have to see if he could carry his weight to 147 and dominate like he has @140!

Khan vs. Ortiz @ 147 would be an awesome fight in my opinion!

If khan carried his weight well I would favor him in a match against Ortiz.. But That doesnt mean Ortiz couldnt pull the upset! Ortiz is a wild card.. I even give him a chance at a major upset against mayweather!

people are underrating ortiz, he punches hard with both hands, is more accurate than maidana, much more vicious,as big as khan, drops all his opponents. Im not going to change my opinion on that one because khan beat zab judah, imo ortiz stops khan same with berto, I like khan but he is better off at 140. Too bad he cant make the weight but on the other hand the fight itself is a great match up.

I love how bias people are on here.

I don't like Amir Khan. I think he's overrated, especially after he narrowly escaped against Maidana. 15 rounds and Khan was gonna get put out.

That said, Ortiz has more movement and boxing ability than Maidana and hits atleast as hard. It would be a fight of the year. Esp. if Khan continues to get better. I give the edge to Khan because of Freddie Roach (and I believe Khan, Pacquiao, and Chavez are taking illegal substance.

And maidana's style is exactly the same as Khans!

However much you wanna **** on Ortiz.. the guy is fun to watch! He doesnt throw Jabs.. Just power punches. Even If victor loses to khan, he will get his punches in. He always does..

Khan at 147 is going to make big waves, 147 will be Khan best fighting weight.

I can't wait when his body slams on the canvass again, making big waves!

Khan is a good fighter, with good fundamentals, but his chin will be his downfall. Unless he starts being protected. But GBP is pretty good at matching their fighters against legit opposition.

Khan's chin issues were down to weight draining, note how his chin improved when he moved up to 140, and at 140 Khan has not been down even once.

Khan's chin will further improve at 147, with better hydration and stronger legs.

yeah but he will also take big punches from guys that come in the ring near 160, maidana almost ko'd him at 140, the bigger hard hitting guys stopping him at 147 isnt exactly a unlikely scenario. It was partially the weight at 135 but also that his chin isnt that good, that wont change unfortunately for him but will keep giving us exciting fights.
