Holt is fighting Danny Garcia on the Hopkins-Dawson undercard. So there both out.

Mike Alvarado, Lamont Peterson, or Devon Alexander?

Mike Alvarado, Devon Alexander and Lamont Peterson are the only top guys without fights.... Other than Khan. He needs to rematch Maidana. He barley won the first fight.

What's Soto really get for taking this short notice? He just fought just over a month ago.

Get Provodnikov in there. It'd be a slugfest.

I honestly expect if someone is going to step up it will be a journeyman or bum because all those guys are hoping for title shots and a short notice fight with maidana would ruin their chances so I dont think they are happily willing to make a fight, I still hope he gets a decent fight otherwise his camp would have been pointless.

he got an injury on his shoulder, he was supposed to fight FNF today. Perhaps Herrera will step up, he should be able to take maidanas pressure for a couple rounds

And Anthony Peterson on the undercard of Cotto vs Foreman to be aired on HBO.

    Guzman took his heart.
