what about a 147 fight vs a guy like aydin or bailey who is training for a stay busy fight early september?, both those match ups are pretty good when it comes to styles.

Alvarado just finish having a pretty easy fight but he went 10 rounds so I doubt hed take the fight. Peterson had a hard hard fight with Cayo less then a month ago no way he would get back in the ring that fast esp vs someone like Maidana. And Alexander also just had a tough fight but who knows if hes in camp and its too big of a risk for him to take the fight on such short notice when he can still get a big fight when hes fully prepared. Sucks great fight tunred into no fight at all. Any replacement wouldve been great. **** it lets have Maidana vs Corley 2 that first one was a great fight.

possibly, but he could just cool it down now, pick it back up 2 weeks before the fight and then rest for fight week. as long as its not a top fighter who is a big risk then it shouldn't be a problem. i think maidana vs malignaggi would be perfect opposition for the night.
